Isibiba / isihlungu samandiya is bitter tasting medicine that is unique to South Africa, where it is commonly called Aloe bitters or Aloe lumps. It is an odourless crystalline substance that is blackish / dark brown in colour with a shiny, metallic sheen. When added to warm/hot water, it is sparingly soluble, initially forming a sticky / gummy substance.

Take between 1 -50mg when using for the 1st time. This medicine may be taken as a purgative / laxative for detoxing and promoting gut health. It may be taken to help with high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. Take at least once a week Once you are used to taking the medicine, increase the dose to 250mg.
