Stretch marks are dermatological (skin) streaks, a type of skin tissue damage, or a type of scar that can appear on the back of the legs, thighs, hips, buttocks, abdomen, breasts, arms, and other places. The medical term for stretch marks is striae, however their presence has no medical implication. Stretch marks are the most common aesthetic pathology, affecting most of the population, both men and women, across all races and age groups. They can vary in their appearance, in terms
